With copies this beautiful, it is hard not to judge a book by its cover.
Elizabeth Gilbert's book Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear is getting a gorgeous update with a new collection of deluxe, limited edition covers.
The collection was created in partnership with renowned painter Lourdes Sanchez. Only 250 deluxe copies of Big Magic were made, each featuring a unique piece of art created by Sanchez, printed on satin, stamped with gold foil and housed in a pristine white presentation case, according to Riverhead Books.

The new designs are an ode to Big Magic's subject matter: creativity. Throughout the book, Gilbert discusses ways for readers to live a fulfilling creative life, no matter what that outlet is.
"Each book is a one-off underlining the idea that creativity can really come in any sort of package," says Riverhead Books' art director Helen Yentus. Yentus also designed the original hardcover copy of Big Magic (as well as the cover for Gilbert's 2006 hit memoir Eat, Pray, Love).
"The original hardcover was tough. How do you show creativity? It can take all forms and should, how do you define it with one image? [Sanchez's] body of work really embodies the idea that I was having such a hard time communicating for the original."
