Elliott Back is the latest to announce a Facebook application, aptly named "Elliott Back Stock Quotes," and his will display stock tickers on your profile.
Ticker information is updated every five minutes from Yahoo Finance, including the stock price, the percentage change, and yield. You'll need to choose which stock quotes you'd like added to your application, so make sure that you've gotten the correct stock ticker information. This is also important, seeing as an individual stock is rather difficult to delete from the application. But once added, you can click on a stock to get additional information directly from Yahoo Finance.
Elliott Back's Stock Quotes application isn't interactive at all, and it also won't give you a place to keep notes regarding each stock. But the application can be used for personal purposes quite well. Other than the tricky way in which to edit your stock tickers, this basic widget works well with the overall Facebook design.
Another related Facebook app is the one created by Forbes, which tracks company stocks and accesses related financial information.
