If you want to get Elon Musk's attention, all you need to do is take out an ad in a local California paper.

Two Tesla Model S owners from New York took out an ad in Palo Alto Weekly, making several suggestions for ways to improve the line of electric cars. They include moving up the cup holders, introducing voice-activated dialing and pushing for a marketing campaign to spread awareness of Tesla cars to the general public.

Some CEOs may have scoffed privately at the suggestions; others more likely would never have noticed them in the first place. Musk, Tesla's CEO, posted a photo of the full-page advertisement on Twitter, and wrote that "many of the suggestions will be implemented soon."

Perhaps it helped that the New Yorkers behind the ad described themselves as "two VERY highly satisfied Tesla owners."

It's unclear which of those suggestions will be implemented and how soon is "soon." Tesla did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Thanks to the two Tesla owners, though, Musk may have already fulfilled one of their suggestions for the company: more marketing.
