Walking Dead's Emily Kinney has left the zombie apocalypse to join a sexual revolution.

Showtime has announced that the actress, who played Beth on the AMC series, has been tapped for a multi-episode Season 3 arc on Masters of Sex.

Kinney will play Nora, a 20-something former neighbor of Bill and Libby Masters who volunteers to become a sex surrogate in the next phase of Masters and Johnson's research.

[Months old spoiler alert:] This marks Kinney's first major TV gig since her character was killed off The Walking Dead in December's midseason finale.

Season 3 of Masters of Sex is set in 1966 and finds Masters and Johnson in the glare of the national spotlight after their sex study is unveiled.

The new season officially begins July 12, but the premiere is available for streaming now for free via Showtime's website.
