Emma Watson gave another must-watch speech on gender equality on Friday in front of one of the world's forums that needs to hear it the most: the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

The annual talking-shop event with the world's movers and shakers has a serious lack of female participants. This year only 17% of the people attending are women.

Picking up from her moving speech at the United Nations in September, Watson said that women must be equal participants in our homes, our societies, our workplaces and our governments, adding that the world is held back due to a lack of gender equality.

"Women share this planet 50/50 and they are underrepresented, their potential astonishingly untapped," Watson said.

She called on those at Davos to join her year-long campaign IMPACT 10X10X10, which seeks to engage governments, corporations and universities to tackle deficiencies in women’s empowerment and gender equality.
