The Emmy Awards are heading back to Fox -- and a Sunday -- in 2015.

The network and the Television Academy announced on Wednesday that the 67th Annual Primetime Emmys will air Sunday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. ET, with the Creative Arts Emmys set to air on sister network FXX at a date to be announced at a later time.

Once again, the award show will be held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

The 2014 Emmy Awards, which aired on NBC, were held on a Monday last year to avoid conflicting with Sunday Night Football -- a move that ultimately didn't hurt ratings. The telecast was the second-highest rated ceremony in eight years, with 15.6 million viewers.

Fox last aired the award show in 2011.
