With the June 20 deadline for Emmy nomination ballots approaching, the pressure is on Television Academy members to pour through hundreds and hundreds of pages of names and pick out the ones who deserve some accolades come Aug. 25.
We've done a bit of combing ourselves, in fact. And in our perusing the well-lit photographs of this year's potential Emmy nominees, we couldn't help but notice a select few -- those actors and actresses whose names popped up more than once, some of them for very different roles.
This is not an anomaly, of course. Actors and actresses who find themselves in multiple bodies of work during the eligible period are well within the rules to submit their names several times, given they are in different categories or in the same category for different projects. That said, we took a deeper look at the famous faces whose work this year has been impressively wide-ranging.
