Watch the Empire State Building's Fourth of July Light Show

During yesterday's 4th of July celebration, NYC's Empire State Building had another chance to show off its new lighting system.

The LED lights, first showcased in November 2012, were created by Philips Color Kinetics. The system can display 16 million colors, and is capable of showing effects such as ripples, cross-fades, sparkles, chasers, sweeps, strobes and bursts.

As you can see, nearly all effects and a lot of colors were on display on 4th of July. Check out the video (above) and tell us how you liked the light show in the comments!

Update: replaced the video with the official one from the Empire State Building.
