Wild Action Zoo, a private zoo in Victoria, Australia, is now home to a set of unlikely -- and extremely cuddly -- pals.

Eli and Edi, a pair of emu chicks born just a few days ago, love cuddling with their new friend/foster brother, an 8-month-old kangaroo joey named Reuben.

Chris Humfrey, a zoologist at Wild Action, told BuzzFeed that he feared the two chicks would be attacked by feral foxes, so he brought them into his home. Now, he says, they love snuggling by the fireplace with their cool older bro, Reuben.

Don't you wish your family photos were this great?

Soak in all the cute while you can: Reuben won't always be this snuggly.
