Spectacular HD Farewell to Space Shuttle Endeavour [VIDEO]

The space shuttle Endeavour’s journey to retirement continued this week, when a specially outfitted Boeing 747 transported the winged spacecraft to Los Angeles International Airport.

Photographer and director Vincent Laforet captured beautiful HD footage of the shuttle’s landing at LAX.

The Endeavour farewell tour takes a two-week break at the airport’s United Airlines hangar, before making its way through the streets of Los Angeles on Oct. 12. The shuttle’s final destination will be the California Science Center.
