Australia is at peak humiliation.

The nation's cricket team has been smashed by England during an awfully abhorrent day one of fourth Test at Trent Bridge. The Aussie team got all out for 60 in 111 balls. In case you are wondering, that is a crushing defeat.

The star of England's knock-out performance was Stuart Broad, who took eight wickets to see Australia bowled out in the first innings in the shortest time in Test history. England needs to win one more match of the five-match series to regain the Ashes.

And just as all Australians were considering crawling under the carpet and dying a slow, sorry death, the Poms have another idea.

Here's how they showed the world their victory on Twitter and newspapers around the country:

This time it wasn't just the English slamming the Australian Test team. The Australian media also showed their disgust on this black day in history.

Last but not least there was a tweet from good ol' KP, otherwise known as English cricketer Kevin Pietersen, who is sunning himself on some island far, far away.

If that hurt a lot, Australian TV show host Karl Stefanovic has a gift for you. Him, naked, running. At least something half-decent came out of this bloodbath. Happy Friday.

If clarkey doesn't get a hundred I'm gear off on the show tomorrow. Woohoo. Positives for everyone. What— Karl Stefanovic (@karlstefanovic) August 6, 2015
