Entrecard, a Boston-based social network and online advertising service has just closed their Series A round of funding. They wouldn't say exactly how much money they were given, but the investment put the company on the board with an after-money valuation of $1.1 million. The folks over at Entrecard gleefully sent us this news tip. I don't fault them! If I had such news, I'd be pretty pleased as well.

The investment in this marketplace for bloggers  was led by Andrew Te, known for being the founder of Powweb, a hosting company.
