The list of beauty and fashion subscriptions boxes available may appear endless. From Birchbox to Glossybox to Ipsy, you can order beauty samples and full size products straight to your doorstep.

However, all of these boxes do not necessarily cater to women of all skin tones.

Enter the Essence BeautyBox, made specifically for black women.

Essence, a lifestyle and entertainment magazine serving African-American women, is launching a subscription box that will send five curated name brand hair and beauty products to subscribers for a price of $15 per month, starting in October.

The brand says it will try to feature a product from an independent, black-owned business in each box.

The first Essence BeautyBox selections include Ginger and Liz Argan Oil Remover Wipes, CK Eternity Now Fragrance, Fekkai Hair Fragrance Spray, Eden Bodyworks Coconut Shea Hair Oil, Earth's Nectar Coconut Curls Conditioner and L'Occitane Hand Cream. Future boxes will also include products from Essence’s annual beauty features -- Reader's Choice (October issue) and Best in Black Beauty (April issue) lists.

"We understand the challenges and frustrations in finding a variety of products for our shades and skin tones, identifying the products that work, and learning more about what’s new and next," the website reads. "Curated by our trusted beauty experts, the Essence BeautyBox will deliver unique and coveted beauty finds to your door each month."
