Angry Birds creator Rovio isn't content to let the Flappy Bird craze pass by unnoticed -- even if the original game was removed from the App Store three months ago. The company's next effort, Retry, just appeared in the Finnish, Polish and Canadian App Stores, and has many mechanics that Flappy fans will find familiar.

Retry has players piloting an 8-bit plane as it loop-de-loops over and under obstacles. The game's App Store description promises difficulty, saying "It's called Retry for a reason!"

The game was made by "From the guys sitting in the room next to the guys who made Angry Birds," which The Next Web speculates is Level 11 Studios.

Retry doesn't have a release date for the American App Store. Rovio has not yet responded to requests for comment.
