Planning an event that can attract the right kinds of people, evoke excitement in attendees and create chatter that sticks is no easy job -- and these responsibilities lie on the shoulders of the busy, often under-appreciated event planner. So what does the life of someone in the event industry really look like, and what tools and tricks do they have up their sleeves?

The entire event planning process relies on steady determination, organizational skills up the wazoo and an assortment of tech platforms that help streamline the process. Entering 2015, we'll begin to see an even greater integration of technology, not only within the event planning process but also injected into events themselves.
