I'm ready for my close-up, Mr. DeMille. So are you going with the disposable camera or the iPhone?

In this video from Cooperative of Photography, the array of different camera technologies used (from Daguerrotype, Polaroid, to the contemporary appeal of the smartphone) feels like a comprehensive walk through your old photo albums; that is if your photo albums bridged a time span of several of centuries.

According to Photographer Leo Rosas, "We wanted to show how the evolution of the camera has directly influenced portraits." Rosas used the same model in each of the 11 shots, which each benefited from some expert photoshop prowess.

Will there be a virtual reality portrait awaiting in the next wave of the selfie-snapping age? Hopefully. And fingers crossed for a "Pinhole" camera filter on Instagram soon.
