How many times have you gone ahead and uploaded a photo of yourself to a program like Eyealike to see what celebrity you favor? Admit it! I've done it once. I don't really look like anybody important. ;) But every once in a while, facial recognition tools are fun. And Eyealike, you may recall, is also used for facial search on dating sites.
Stan wasn't too impressed with Eyealike's service a few months ago, but a recent feature update to Eyealike is hoping to change the minds of people like Stan. Called the Attraction Trait Levers, Eyealike Faces search tool has some additional search filters that lets you further refine search results to get better dating prospects.
The new filters include preferences for face shape, skin color, and hair color. In order to support such upgrades, Eyealike had to improve its own facial recognition algorithm so that additional search capabilities can be incorporated. So according to Eyealike, it all boils down to physical attraction. Surveys, match points, and overall worthiness don't have much to do with anything when it comes to finding your soulmate. Physical attraction does.
