Eyespot launched a Media Campaign Platform last summer, which was designed as a way for content creators and brands to offer rights-cleared content to be available for mashups across various social networks as a way to insert some marketing material into user-generated content. The idea worked for several labels in the film and television industry, with the likes of Lucasfilm and Sony taking advantage of Eyespot's technology.

[img src="" caption="" credit="" alt=""]Now, Eyespot is taking this concept to the masses with an approach that's built to attack the longtail of web publishers and social networks. The video network is essentially opening up its library of premium content to be used by anyone for mashups and other purposes, within the integrated environment that a social network can provide. The new service from Eyespot is called the Eyespot Personalization Suite, and it's a turnkey solution that offers hosting options for networks to take advantage of to get up and running quickly.
