In an idiotic move, a man has run onto the track during a practice session for the Chinese Grand Prix on Friday.

The unidentified track invader decided to play "chicken" with Formula One cars on the pit straight in Shanghai. The cars, when racing, can reach up to speeds of 360 km/h (220 mph).

Grand Prix Times reported he was arrested by police, after he made it to the Ferrari garage.

The heart-stopping event occurred during the second practice session for the upcoming Grand Prix at the Shanghai International Circuit in China. The two practice sessions were dominated by Lewis Hamilton driving Mercedes, giving an indication of what could be expected this weekend.

It's not the only strange thing happening at the Chinese track, earlier a couple could be seen in the stands having wedding photos taking. Now that is speed dating.
