Facebook seems to be losing the PR battle to keep its controversial Beacon advertising system in place as-is. Earlier today we learned that the company is considering changes, and a response to the criticism has been issued by a Facebook employee in a MoveOn.org Group that has been setup on the social network to protest the feature.
However, the response falls short of suggesting that the company will ultimately introduce a global opt-out feature so you never have to think about Beacon again. Such a move could potentially kill the revenue stream Facebook has in mind for Beacon, but could also appease thousands of angry users. Thus, today's poll question:
