The court battle between ConnectU and Facebook is still going strong. With assertions that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg used code from ConnectU to start his social network, and claims from Facebook saying that ConnectU co-founder instructed that Facebook be hacked into, it doesn't look like this problem will be solved any time soon.

So far, the courts have been largely in favor of ConnectU, but a recent court hearing began the turning of the tables to Facebook's benefit. ConnectU has requested that Facebook's lawsuit, filed in 2005, be dismissed. And, the ruling judge Richard Seeborg may do just that. He's reluctant to overrule the ruling of Judge William Elfving from Santa Clara County Superior Court, saying that Facebook "doesn't get a do-over."

Hopefully this will all be over very soon. It's starting to sound like a really bad movie about college geeks out for revenge against each other. Why can't ConnectU do it the normal way--just get rich, buy a sports car, create a female robot and join the cast of "Dancing with the Stars."
