Facebook is getting in the habit of releasing lots of smaller updates - like the Facebook Exporter for iPhoto, which launched today.
Previously, users had to create a new Facebook album, upload images through either the Java-based or basic uploader, tag them, caption them and save the album.
With the new iPhoto Facebook Exporter plugin, images go straight from your iPhoto library to a Facebook album, and tags and captions remain intact. The tool was actually build using the Facebook API and the iPhoto API, and Facebook is encouraging others to build a Flickr-to-Facebook exporter.
