Facebook posted an entry to their blog today regarding Facebook Mobile, which some people seem to be interpreting as a launch. The truth is a little less exciting: the only new feature is the My Mobile page, which ties together all the existing mobile features available on Facebook. This makes it a little easier to find all the mobile services, even if there's nothing truly new here.
Nonetheless, it's worth noting that Facebook offers lots of options for mobile access: a WAP site that squeezes all of Facebook's features into the mobile screen, mobile uploads for photos and Facebook Notes, and a text messaging service that lets you interact with the site using various commands (similar to Groovr, Zemble and many mobile social networks). Facebook got wise to mobile long before other major networks, so they deserve some props.
