Facebook Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, however, told ABC News that the idea sprung, in part, from his friendship with the late Steve Jobs. The former Apple CEO received a liver transplant (a fact he famously confirmed at an Apple product launch event), which extended his life by years.
