Facebook Pages are now rampant; they may also be the new spam of Facebook. Late last week I noticed two Mashable Facebook pages. One was a Mashable page, where the questions were all "Is this official?" and there was a severe lack of Mashable information. The second one was a Mashable.com page, with 1 fan (probably the sad creator) and no real comments. I alerted Facebook of the "unauthorized" usage of our logo and name, and have yet to receive a response.
So I decided to try and see what would happen if I tried to create a third Mashable page, also using the name "Mashable" - Success! Check out the Official Mashable Facebook page! While we're glad to have our official page up, but the lax restrictions lead us to ask:
