In this Ask A Dev, Web Developer DJ Karasek gives developers a better idea of what makes Facebook React stand out from the front-end framework crowd (aside from its name).

For starters, React allows you to combine CSS, Java, and other code docs into one file using JSX, but that's not all. DJ also talks about React’s virtual DOM, and how it saves time by allowing developers to render individual components with a state change instead of the entire site. He’ll also discuss React’s native capabilities, which are so popular, other framework teams are actually meeting with the React team to figure out how to implement it into their frameworks. We won’t name names, but DJ will.
