[img src="" caption="" credit="" alt=""]Facebook has quietly rolled out a new feature that suggests “people you may know.” Last month, Nick O’Neill noticed a new option that allowed you to turn on/off notifications about new suggestions, but this is the first visible sign of the feature we have seen on the site. LinkedIn has offered a similar feature for some time.
As for the list, it’s likely based on people that several of your existing friends are connected to. My list certainly has a few folks on it that I know but haven’t yet added, including a certain someone that I absolutely refuse to make friends with on Facebook :)
