Facebook has hired Blake Chandlee to lead the company’s UK sales team. Chandlee will be leaving his post at Yahoo, where he was serving as Category Development Officer, focused on growing the company’s advertising business with consumer goods companies.
Facebook recently passed MySpace for the social networking lead in the UK, and has announced they will soon be opening an office in London. The company is also rumored to be developing foreign-language versions of its site to help its international expansion.
