Google has been doing quite a few things to AdSense lately. They've changed the clickable area, reducing accidental clicks and therefore slightly fraudulent charges to advertisers. They've also been rumored to be trying to enter Facebook from the app developer's backdoor. Today, Venturebeat and other bloggers confirm this with Google, they disclose some details of exactly how that's working.

It was deduced that Google would be in breach of Facebook's user privacy policies as well as the terms of service for the social network if Google was receiving Personally Identifiable Information from the developers. It was confirmed that during the testing stages that this happened, but once the policy was clarified, Google ceased utilizing the information being sent to them, and asked developers to stop sending the data.
