Remember the guy that got called out for his Fake Steve Jobs blog? Daniel Lyons, a senior editor at Forbes, was revealed as the true author behind the popular satire blog, and now that we all know his real identity, he can go on tour to promote his upcoming book "oPtion$ : The Secret Life of Steve Jobs," which should hit shelves on November 1, 2007.

The book, which Lyons completed on nights and weekends over a four-month period in order to be available in time for holiday shopping, was originally supposed to be published under a pseudonym. And no book tour was planned, of course, because no one was to know who the real author was. So now that the cat is out of the bag, a book tour is under way. It will be a small book tour, and won't venture far past the Valley, as that's where Lyons' niche audience resides. The timing of his true identity being revealed, though, is great. You couldn't ask for better press.
