Mid-October is peak time for enjoying those rich, warm colors of autumn. The season is spectacular in areas where leaves sweep the landscape in red, orange and yellow.

Snap a few shots while apple picking, or take a hike through your local park. The great thing about leaves is that they're everywhere.
Some trees will be blossoming with beautiful color combinations, and will look great against a brilliant blue sky. Others will stand bare, above forest floors carpeted in fallen leaves.
