What 20 years of people sticking their gum to one wall looks like

Visitors and locals have been sticking gum to the walls of Post Alley in Seattle for 20 years. But now, officials say it's time to clean up the famous Pike Place Market “gum wall." A contractor will use steam to melt off the gum. They will be removing an estimated 1 million pieces of gum off the walls because pressure washing could damage it too much.
