Last weekend was an especially excellent one to be a Potterhead. Between the cast reunion and new information from J.K. Rowling, the magical world is as energetic as ever -- so much so that Pottermore also got in on the action, releasing clips that go behind the scenes of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Unlike the Harry Potter films, the upcoming Fantastic Beasts features an entirely adult cast -- but even they couldn't help feeling that the magic was real.

"Sometimes I walk around and I'll just have something in my hand and I can't make things move," said actress Alison Sudol of getting used to life without a wand.

"It's incredibly exciting," said director David Yates, who helmed the last four Harry Potter films and is eager to adapt the magical world to America in the 1920s with J.K. Rowling's first screenplay.

Producer David Heyman described the new film's core characters as outsiders: sisters Tina (Katherine Waterson) and Queenie (Sudol), magizoologist Newt (Eddie Redmayne) and Muggle/No-Maj Jacob, a veteran and aspiring bakery owner.

"This film will appeal to all," said Heyman. "It's funny, it's moving, it's thrilling."

"It's like imagination taken to the extreme," added Redmayne.

Rowling has a knack for that.
