Dinosaurs didn't go extinct because of a giant asteroid collision or erupting volcanoes. Clearly, they were just big, dumb bird-lizards that didn't want survival badly enough.
Takkar, the tribal hunter hero of Far Cry Primal, doesn't have that problem. He's ready to singlehandedly take down the Stone Age in his quest to keep the Wenja people safe.
This trailer doesn't shed much more light on the story than that, but it does feature Takkar drinking from a skull filled with blood and eyeballs. No doubt an important step in the struggle to "rise above extinction," as the trailer commands.
