Oh, gosh, this is great news.

FX announced Monday that Emmy-nominated Fargo and Emmy winner Louie are coming back next year for new seasons.

Freshman series Fargo, starring Martin Freeman and Billy Bob Thornton, wrapped up its first season in June. The show saw the death of two major characters, and neatly wrapped up the story of fan favorite Molly (Allison Tolman) -- leaving some fans wondering how the show would frame a then-unofficial Season 2.

The answer? FX said the new installment will feature an all-new cast, be set in a new time period and offer a brand-new storyline. Season 2 will consist of 10 episodes.

Earlier this month Fargo earned itself 18 Emmy nominations, including one for Outstanding Miniseries and two in the Outstanding Lead Actor category for Thornton and Freeman.

Meanwhile, Outstanding Comedy Series nominee Louie has been picked up for Season 5. It will consist of seven episodes and debut in spring 2015.
