Fashion search and shopping site FashMatch launched nearly two years ago and has since been creating apps for MySpace and Bebo, while also improving some features on its main site, resulting in a site relaunch. Two new features are Fashphoto and Search, each of which have some pretty interesting aspects.

Fashphoto has some added tagging options which let you link a photo's item to the site where it can be purchased (think overlay hyperlinks), and also geo-tag it on a Google map. These are both good features to have considering the shareability of FashMatch's content, but I'd love to see a more inclusive mashup for the geo-tagging features, perhaps even some inclusion with FashMatch's new search. That would allow the geo-tagging capabilities of Fashphotos to move beyond the image itself.

The new search has one key feature that I really like, and it directly involves some community aspects of FashMatch into the act of searching on the site. Any search query can be turned into a Q&A submission, which is presented to the entire community and eventually converted into a series of content built on the participation of other users. This, along with the addition of search verticals for FashMatch make for a fairly conclusive set of search results no matter what the query.
