A couple driving along the main road on Olkhon Island in Russia spotted a rotund rodent in need of some help.
The ground squirrel was unable to free itself from its hole, either because it was too fat or a passing vehicle collapsed its home, so they offered the scared animal a little help.
Either way, the cute little prairie dog lived to eat another day.
