Personal feed reader Fav.or.it has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from an angel investor, David Richmond. The funding will be use towards the launching and growth of its first product, which we first took a look at a few months back. You may recall that fav.or.it works from the premise of aggregating content from blogs an online publications for the purpose of collecting, and interacting with the data.
This level of interaction is the key differentiator for fav.or.it, enabling you to read not just the blog's content, but it's comments as well, and from there you can leave your own comments from the comfort of this personalized feed reader. Just last week fav.or.it extended the custom options of this tool with a feed mashup. As part of the angel funding, Richmond will be joining the company's board in an effort to help the start up grow in the right direction.
