The only problem is that about half of the collective Twitterverse has no clue how to actually spell Favre's last name. While "Brett Favre," the correct spelling of the footballer's name is trending, "Farve," a common misspelling, is also trending as well.
It looks as if the Twitterverse is suffering from the same problem that Ben Stiller's character, Ted, has at the end of There's Something About Mary (check the 4:36 min mark in the video below). As the tweets continue to roll in, we'd like to point out that it's F-a-v-r-e. We can't help you with the pronunciation.
