Ferris Bueller's Latest Day Off Comes Courtesy of Honda [VIDEO]

You've seen the teaser and you've probably seen the 1986 movie, but now you can enjoy the full Super Bowl spot featuring the further adventures of the now-middle aged Matthew Broderick, a.k.a. Ferris Bueller.

In the commercial promoting Honda, Broderick calls in sick to avoid a movie shoot and then rides a rollercoaster, hits a museum, bets at the racetrack, does some tai chi at the beach and, of course, belts out a song at a parade. Along the way, as you might expect, there are some call-outs to the original including the repetition of the name "Broderick, Broderick;" the name "Grace" (Principal Rooney's secretary), which appears on Broderick's CR-V screen; a guy in a trenchcoat playing the clarinet; and the reference to the CR-V as a "fine automobile."

As an industry tradition, Honda and several other companies are dropping the full-length versions of their Super Bowl ads on the Monday before the big game. Other new ads hitting YouTube on Monday included Hyundai's and H&M's.

The YouTube version of Honda's commercial runs at 2:25 minutes, but it will be 60-seconds long during the Super Bowl.
