Apparently there are still people in the United States who are unfamiliar with the premise of Fifty Shades of Grey — namely, one high school teacher in West Virginia.
A group of students in Hampton County convinced their teacher that, as a reward for good work, they should be allowed to watch the movie, and the teacher apparently did not think anything was amiss in such a request.

The bizarre and racy screening was understandably cut short about 10 minutes after it began, when school principal Jeff Woofter walked by and noticed that the action on the screen wasn't exactly "school-appropriate."
"I will say it was an extreme lack of judgment from an otherwise very capable teacher," Woofter told the Charleston Daily Mail. "[She] didn’t do a background check on the movie or even ask about it.”
Woofter declined to comment on whether or not the teacher and students would be receiving any disciplinary action for the movie gaffe.
At the very least, the teacher and her students probably learned a few new things during that class period, right?
