There are more online storage solutions coming your way, and a few of them are being backed by Amazon S3.

DigitalBucket.net is a new file storage service offering 1GB of free space and 3GB of transfer to all sign ups. They're using the Amazon Web Services platform to power the service as it's scalable and will grow with them as they need.

The GUI interface of the service is reminiscent of Windows Explorer, so the learning curve is minimal at best for the novice user. Drag and drop your files, and then access them from any computer with an Internet connection.

The second site being powered by Amazon is File123, a document storage company that allows you to get your documents in three different fashions: email the files as attachments to a specific address, send a fax of the documents to a toll-free 888 number, or install a small utility that allows you to scan and upload the files with one-click functionality.

Sign-up is free with File123, and includes 1GB of free storage. Larger plans start at $4.95 for 10GB of storage. Meanwhile, Amazon continues to lead the storage service providers, with no direct challenge from Google yet.
