FilesTube is a search engine that will find places for you to download content.
From mp3s to wmv files, FilesTube will give you a list of search results, all leading to a file sharing or uploading website. Select the type of file you'd like, and type in what you're looking for. FilesTube will offer matches based on sites it's detected with recent uploads to file-sharing sites. Links can be reported, and rated as well. Additionally, links can be submitted to FilesTube. I tried out the FilesTube search, and was rather disappointed with the search results that were returned to me. Options were limited, and many of the links were broken.
On this front, we're seeing a bit of legal trouble for search engines that provide access to file-sharing sites, legal or otherwise. TorrentSpy has been ordered by a court to retain user IP addresses in the US, and has instead chosen to block US users from utilizing its search engine. Another search engine that doesn't necessarily lead to direct download options as seeqpod, which functions as a search in a similar manner to filesTube.
