Filmaroo is a video-sharing company here at DEMO that is primarily geared towards family members, like mom or grandpa. You know, the ones that aren't quite technically inclined and are deathly afraid of YouTube.
This video-sharing network is basd off of a peer-to-peer bitTorrent system, and as Filmaroo hosts your videos, this P2P system is of course designed to keep costs low. It's a downloadable application, which actually may scare away some moms and grandpas just as easily as YouTube. But the download isn't required for viwers--only for those uploading and sharing videos. If you send a video to a friend, you just enter in their email address, and they're saved in your account as a contact (or friend). They'll receive an email with a link that will open up your video, which will be available for only 10 days. If they do decide to sign up for Filmaroo's service, they will be able to access the video at any time.
