Surging GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina and attendees at a San Antonio event on Sunday afternoon got more excitement than they bargained for when the stage curtain structure collapsed around the candidate.

Thankfully, according to reporters on the scene, no one was injured and the event continued.

The audience and Fiorina made light of the incident.
"Trump!" someone yells out after the curtains fall. "Trump, Hillary -- it could've been lots of people," @CarlyFiorina replies.— Patrick Svitek (@PatrickSvitek) September 27, 2015
Earlier in the day, Fiorina had a combative appearance on NBC's Meet The Press in which host Chuck Todd grilled Fiorina on her claim from the most recent GOP debate about alleged gruesome footage from one of the Planned Parenthood tapes showing a dying fetus on a table with a doctor asking to keep the fetus alive to harvest its organs. The problem, Todd said, is there are no such scenes on any of the tapes. Fiorina stood by her assertion, saying such a moment does exist.
