Firefox has just released several security fixes for its latest browser version, Firefox 2.0.0.5.

Most importantly is the security fix that uses the IE browser to trick Firefox into opening a variety of dangerous security holes. Other fixes include unauthorized access to wyciwyg:// docs, frame spoofing while a window is loading, crashing with memory corruption and file type confusion with those containing "%00" in the name, among other things. The latest upgrade version should offer a prompt, otherwise you'll have to go to the Help menu and check for updates. As usual, some of your Firefox add-ons may not work properly until updates are made for these as well.
