When the "First Kiss" video depicting 20 strangers kissing went viral this week and was later revealed to be a clothing advertisement, many were disappointed.

But that hasn't stopped fans from dogging on the video in parody form. In this interpretation, "First Sniff" highlights a romantic initial encounter between two pups.

The video, created by YouTube user Bosh, gives a new meaning to the term "puppy love."

Although the paid participants kissing in the original ad were, in fact, strangers, many feel emotionally cheated by the marketing ploy. Most of the people involved in the video were professional actors, so the legitimacy of their intimacy is questionable and we can't help but wonder if the chemistry was real or forced.

One thing's for sure, though: Unless these pups receive a few camera tips from Air Bud, we can all rest assured knowing it's true dog-stiny.

If you can't get enough of "First Kiss," this parody created by Joshua Hoover shows fake outtakes, and is probably a more accurate depiction of how the awkward scenario would have actually played out.
