Meet the world's first test-tube puppies

Veterinarians, scientists and lab workers helped a surrogate hound give birth to seven puppies. They are the first dogs ever conceived in a test tube. They were born on July 10 and are a mix of beagle, labrador and cocker spaniel. They are now healthy 5-month-olds. Researchers say "in vitro fertilization" technology like this could help save endangered breeds of dogs. [Additional reporting by the Associated Press]
