Many people consider flying in an airplane an awful experience, riddled with some of the most annoying aspects of our fellow humans; it's easy to forget how truly amazing it is.
However, it only takes one look at 57-year-old Patsy's first emotion-filled takeoff to remember that flying through the air at hundreds of miles an hour is an extraordinary accomplishment by humans.
Patsy's daughter, Michelle Carville shared a video of their takeoff on a flight from Dublin to Liverpool on her Facebook page.
