Disabled Fish Gets Life Jacket So It Can 'Just Keep Swimming'

Leighton Naylor is taking a cue from Finding Nemo's Dory and making sure his goldfish, Einstein, can just keep swimming.

The elderly Einstein recently developed a swim bladder disease, affecting his buoyancy and causing him to sink to the bottom of his fish tank. But with some ingenuity and tubing, Naylor made sure his pet could continue living the normal lifestyle the rest of his aquatic friends enjoyed.

"It broke my heart to see him so helpless. He looked so depressed," Naylor tells the Daily Mail. "People have said I'm crazy but every animal is a valued family member and I do my best to help every one of them."

Watch the video above to learn more about the life jacket Naylor developed and the tricks he's teaching his fishy friend.
